PayLink Terms and Conditions

KttiPay Pty Ltd ABN 38 657 958 195 (KttiPay) provides payment links (“PayLink/s”) so its customers (“Requestor”, “Payee”) can easily request payment from peers (“Payer”) and pay their friends back. By sharing a URL generated in the KttiPay App, a Requestor can receive payments from a Payer who has a valid means of payment being an Australian-issued debit card. You can also make payments to your friends via a PayLink that has been sent to you via your KttiPay Account or any Australian-issued debit card. You can create a PayLink by associating it with a transaction incurred in your Personal Ktti in the KttiPay App. You can then share the PayLink to the person’s mobile number you want to pay and they will be able to make a payment to you. KttiPay will share the PayLink via WhatsApp or SMS to the number you have provided.

These Terms apply to people who receive and make payments via KttiPay’s PayLink.

1) PayLink availability

You can only request payment via a PayLink if you have acquired and hold a KttiPay Account. PayLinks can be created via the KttiPay App.\

You do not need to hold a KttiPay Account and/or Card or have the KttiPay App downloaded to make payments via PayLink. You can make payments via PayLink with an Australian-issued debit card and/or via Google Pay or Apple Pay.

2) How does PayLink work?

The PayLink must be associated with a transaction incurred through your Personal Ktti Account or Card (Associated Transaction). The payment received via the PayLink will be deposited into your Personal Ktti only.

PayLinks are single use. This means that once a payment has been made using a PayLink, a payment cannot be made using the same link again.

Each PayLink is capped at either $1,000 or the amount of the Associated Transaction, whichever is less.

Once a PayLink has been set up, KttiPay will send automatic reminders to the Payer where they have not paid until the Requestor cancels the request or the Payer pays the request, or 28 days, whichever comes first.

The Requestor has the option to send manual reminders to the Payer.

3) What can you use PayLink for?

You can use PayLink to request an amount to cover the whole or part of the amount of an Associated Transaction to be deposited into your Personal Ktti.

‍

You must not:

• Use PayLink to request payment from people not known to you
• Use a debit card not issued in your name to make payments via PayLink
• Use PayLink in any illegal, dishonest, unjust or unfair way
• Embed PayLink in any webpage or social media post or page
• Amend PayLink to display an alternate webpage URL
• Send more than 1 manual reminder per day to the same person for the same request
• Amend the PayLink webpage to mask the identity and origin of the request and/or KttiPay’s logo, and/or
• Send PayLinks generated by another KttiPay user.

5) Monitoring 

KttiPay monitors the use of PayLink. Where it is suspected that you are acting outside of these Terms, KttiPay may:

• Freeze your account(s), and/or
• Close your account(s).
