KttiPay is closing

KttiPay will close on Monday 31 August 2026.

KttiPay began with a simple idea: paying together should be easier, less awkward and fairer for everyone. We are proud of what we built and genuinely grateful to everyone who chose to use KttiPay.
What we learned from KttiPay is now shaping Maytes, the next chapter in making group payments easier.

What you need to do by 24 August

You can continue using KttiPay until Monday 24 August.
โ€
Before then, please:
โ€

  • settle or close any open kttis, PayLinks or payment requests
  • move any subscriptions or recurring Card payments to another payment method
  • move or cancel any Direct Debits linked to your KttiPay account
  • make alternative arrangements for managing shared payments

From Tuesday 25 August, you will no longer be able to use your KttiPay Visa Debit Card, make Direct Debit payments from your KttiPay account, create PayLinks or start new kttis.

Transfer your money by 31 August

From Tuesday 25 August, KttiPay will be withdrawal-only.

You will still be able to access your account and transfer any remaining money out until KttiPay closes on Monday 31 August. After that, your account will close and the app will no longer be accessible.

What comes next

What we learned from KttiPay is now shaping Maytes, the next chapter in making group payments easier.

This includes Split with Maytes, which will allow groups to pay their individual shares through participating merchantsโ€™ checkouts, as well as the new Maytes app we are building.

Maytes is separate from KttiPay.
Your KttiPay account, balance and transaction history will not move into Maytes.
